Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Next Events collects, uses, and protects personal data when users buy tickets, manage events, and authenticate with password, Google, Apple, or optional magic links.
Last updated: March 14, 2026
1. Scope & Definitions
This Privacy Policy applies to the Next Events platform and services (“Service”) operated by the entity offering the Service (“we,” “us,” “our”). “You” and “your” refer to users of the Service. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Data We Collect
We collect account identity information (name, email), ticket purchase details (orders, line items, payment references), and operational data such as event creation, promoter attribution, and check-in logs. We may also collect device and usage data necessary for security and operation.
3. How We Use Data
- Process payments and issue tickets.
- Deliver receipts, tickets, and account notices.
- Prevent fraud and abuse.
- Provide dashboards for admins, moderators, promoters, and users.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Payment Data
Card data is processed by Stripe. Next Events does not store raw card numbers or full payment credentials. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of payment processors; their use of your data is governed by their own policies.
5. Authentication Data
For password sign-in, passwords are stored as one-way hashes. For Google and Apple sign-in, only provider identity references required for login continuity are stored. Optional magic links are short-lived and single-use. Third-party sign-in is subject to those providers’ privacy policies.
6. Email Communications
We use Resend to deliver transactional emails (receipts, tickets, optional magic links). We do not sell or rent user email addresses. We are not responsible for the practices of email or other service providers.
7. Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers required to operate the platform (e.g., Stripe, Resend, infrastructure providers) under contractual confidentiality obligations. We may disclose data when required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a merger or sale of assets. We do not control and are not liable for how third-party processors handle your data once shared with them.
8. Retention
We retain order and ticket records for compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and support. Account data is retained while active and for a reasonable period after closure where required by law or legitimate business need. We may retain anonymized or aggregated data indefinitely. Retention periods may vary by jurisdiction.
9. User Rights
Where required by applicable law, users may request access, correction, portability, or deletion of personal data by contacting Runwayent111@gmail.com. We will process valid requests in accordance with applicable law. Certain data may be retained where we have a legal or legitimate basis. If you are in the EEA/UK, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
10. Security
We apply technical and organizational safeguards we consider appropriate, including encrypted transport, role-based access controls, and auditing of sensitive actions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We do not guarantee the security of your data and are not liable for unauthorized access, breach, or loss to the extent permitted by law.
11. Minors
The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 13 (or higher where required by law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from such individuals. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
12. International Use
Data may be processed and stored in jurisdictions outside your residence. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer. Where we rely on transfer mechanisms (e.g., adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses), we do so in accordance with applicable law.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we may provide additional notice where required by law.
14. No Professional Advice
This policy is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, regulatory, or professional advice. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable law.
15. Contact
Questions about privacy can be sent to Runwayent111@gmail.com. We will respond in accordance with our internal procedures and applicable law.
